Company “Motor-Shid”. The Ukrainian company “Motor-Shid” of perspective engine – building center which was found in the city of Lugansk and has its own production and scientific – technical potential: -3 Candidates of Science, 1 Doctor of Science, highly qualified staff, a subsidiaries in the city of Kharkov, Donetsk, Kiev. Basic direction of its activities is as follows: elaboration of perspective internal –combustion engines. At present our enterprise possesses completed set of design documentation for 4 types of the engines which have been appreciated by the experts, namely: 1) by the leading expert institute in Ukraine – “The Institute of Machines & Systems”, Kharkov, Director of the institute – Candidate of Technical Sciences N.M. Ternyuk, he is also the supervisor of the State Program “Engine - building in Ukraine”, confirmed in 1996. 2) by Voronezh OKBM – (Machine –building design bureau), world – famous academicians A.G. Bakanov and B. Ye. Basov highly appreciated the engines (Report of 30.04.92). 3) Stand testing at Shanghai Scientific Research Bureau on model engines design “SC”(Report of 12.01.98). 4) Stand testing by “Asialink” Firm in Hong Kong, China, (Report of 24.03.98). All the leaders of the Firm have Candidate’s or Doctor’s degrees, scientific works and inventions, experience of leading and scientific activities at the enterprises of machine – building and power industry, higher technical and business–education. They are quite able to ensure dynamic development and secure financial status of the Firm, to organize and to develop ICE – production. Perspective engine - building center company “Motor-Shid” suggests to consider organization of internal – combustion engines production with improved cinematic, thermodynamic, ecological, power and operating characteristics by V.A. Klyosov`s design. The engine KP 344/480 is designed on free architecture principle. Possible use – in heaving – loaded trucks, in small vessels, etc. The engine KP 321/15 is used as a power unit for micro –pump and compressor and mobile installations, also in production of electric power ministations. The engine KP 322/30 is used in agricultural machinery (such as mini –mowers, mini – tractors and many others). At present the project - design documentation is ready, experimental –test samples of the engines are produced and they have been tested at the stand in models. The stand testing corroborated the rated data of the engines, namely: capacity has been defined at the balance stand according to the value of revolution moment which is considered as a product of load mass counterbalancing revolution moment by the arm with periodical change of revolution frequency. The engine KP 344/480 capacity can be described as follows: 353 kW by revolution frequency of 3500 rpm; the engine KP 322/30 – capacity of 22 kW by revolution frequency of 2500 rpm; the engine KP 321/15 – capacity of 10.9 kW by 2500 rpm. We could obtain these results thanks to the use of principally new scheme of crank connecting – rod mechanism with rectilineal piston stroke (patented by the State Patent Department of Ukraine, Patent ¹ 7354 in accordance with the Application for Invention Rights No 95041551 of 03.05.95). The engines of internal combustion have the increased motor –resource and operating terms. Small dimensions of the engine multiplied by its capacity make it cheap for a customer, on one side, and broaden the range of its use, on the other. With necessary advertising in Asia and South – Eastern Asia our engines could be beyond competition. As for Western Europe, the value of these engines lies in their ecological – friendliness (environment pollution will be reduced twice comparing with the present engines because of NO and CO – gush reduction ) and in their efficiency. No similar internal – combustion engines can be found in the whole world – the engines of a genuine design and with many positive characteristics which surpass many times all already – existing engines. Mass production of these engines and diesel –generator installations will solve power problems not only in Ukraine but worldwide as well. The total cost of the project is 10000000 US $. Net profit (NPV) will total – 1.158 mil US$. Ðeriod of recoupment (PBP) is 5 years. Profitability index (PI) is 1.28. Inner rentability rate (IRR) is 24.6 %. Necessary loan financial means come to 10000000 in the form of investment credit for the period of 5 years or in the form of a joint venture. No similar internal – combustion engines can be found in the whole world – the engines of a genuine design and with many positive characteristics which surpass many times all already – existing engines. Mass production of these engines and diesel –generator installations will solve power problems not only in Ukraine but worldwide as well. Table 1 ICE technical characteristics.
